GeralltREESGerallt Rees, former headteacher at Barn Street Junior School and Fenton Primary School, Haverfordwest, died peacefully on 13th August. Louise and family would like to thank all the many friends who sent cards of sympathy and made generous donations to Cancer Research Wales in lieu of flowers. Gerallt was grateful and appreciative of the care he received in University Hospital of Wales and Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest especially from CDU and Ward 10 at Withybush. The funeral took place in St Llawddog Church, Penboyr, Drefach-Felindre on 19th August and thanks are extended to Wyn Williams, Funeral Directors; the Reverend Beth Davies, the Reverend Euryl Howells and Canon Aled Williams, Clergy; Mrs Gaynor Bowen, organist and the many church members who ensured that the service fulfilled Gerallt's final wishes.
